“A Canterlot Wedding” was pretty bad
We have all seen the season 2 final “A Canterlot Wedding”?
Because here are my thoughts about it.
- Why is McCarthy put on a romance episode? She ain’t good at it at all. Brainwashing love-spells are not ok, you know? It’s Candance’s power and she just used it on an arguing couple. Is the problem solved by this? No!
That is not a good message, children.
And it contradicts with Hearts and Hooves Day.
- Oh no, my brother, whom I never ever told about but apparently was the most important figure in my childhood because I was alone, is getting married. Lalalafterthought! Here is a song to show you how much I care about this afterthought! :D
- Oh wait, in my childhood there was Candance too! Hehe. Scrap that song in the beginning, but we NEED songs in a special, right? No song for her though, that would be silly.
- Our main villain laughs off Shining Armor’s attempt to defeat her with the power of LOVE. Our main villain gets her power from his love that was frikken powerful. And backed up by the ALICORN of LOVE? LOLOL Love is such a silly power because I am the villain and I need these tropes!
And then rabid bronies get mad when you don’t think this show is greatly written.
