Trying out my camera some more. These are doodles from 2012.
The first one was made in a train, the other two during class.

yeah sure because making fun of a stereotypical brodude is worse than subtle ableism that turns NOT SUBTLE when the fans name the character “derpy hooves” yeah sure keep going

^ThisOf course it is clear this thing carries an agenda. Bubblecup has no personality. (“Bubbly” is fanon) She neither has a clear disability, mentally or physically, which makes her an ableist character.
How is a Dumbbell cutiemark offensive? I do not know with what purpose they gave him small wings, but he didn’t lack any ability of a ‘standard built pegasus’. No, your small penis jokes are not canon.A limited vocabulary is a character trait similair to Big Mac and often used to give some sort of “oh, that person” vibe. There is nothing offensive about it.

About the drama last night.

Uuugh better write something up.

 • Someone posted this journal screencapped on derpibooru. This was removed before I was aware of it, but it lead to a hand full of stupid comments which I’ve since removed. But basically people were calling me stupid for being against Derpy. I replied, got really angry, removed the comments and left an edit saying any further comments would be deleted too.
 • An edited version of my “Tea With Friends” picture, with some dumb flashing effect was posted on derpibooru seemingly in retaliation. It was removed pretty quickly.
 • This image:

 • Was then posted to derpibooru and submitted to me here. Abuse was hurled my way, with only one or two people realising that hey, this is wrong, I’m being bullied and the people doing this are idiots.
 • The picture itself was then posted to derpibooru and removed very quickly.
 • Then a screencap of the whole thing was posted, which I’ll be reporting today because I’m tired. http://derpiboo.ru/130152?scope=scpe439ca10729c913699a1dbfa908eefa4996e5d99a
 • Also, in the time when I couldn’t be at my laptop/I was sleeping, I got comments from an idiot on deviantART who I think is the same idiot who sent all of these:

 • So basically. I hate people, I’m tired and over this. Still taking a break, still going to do something about watermarking when I have the time.

Mulp: Bronies. Fighting for the honor of ponies who will never, ever care for them. Even if they were real, they probably would still never care for them for the way that they act.

Like some bronies say; “this makes Fluttershy cry”. I think it’s legit this time.

Sigh. Everytime I have some spirit to make something for the fandom they crush it again. I do feel a bit bad because my terrible pony art is the reason people follow me on DeviantArt. I get watchers all the time. Yet I do not update because I don’t want to give people who behave like this anything.

NUUU!

True facts. I’m very sad about it.

They’ll get more, I’m sure of it; Derpy practically prints money.

I just wish it was TRU that got this. Easier to track shipments if you have the SKN#. =/
Plus they’d also grab the attention of the little girls. Which could come in handy when it comes to further opening Hasbro’s eyes when it comes to making quality toys.

Yeah, I wish it was too— I could have just taken a short, painless trip from my house instead of needing to worry over pooling money in my account, shipping costs, and all that stupid crap.
And I hear you on that second point. Hasbro seems to be figuring this whole thing out rather slowly; they’ve realised that girls would prefer quality toys of the characters over half-assed ones, but they still need to work on putting them out at mass retail instead of as exclusives. And even their exclusives are rather weirdly distributed. :/
Also, note that she’s called Bubbles here. Pepper will love to see that, haha.

I am happy! I can finally make a certain comic that has been on hiatus for over a year now…IF this is her canon name. So….are these canon? Can we canonically call our drama pony Bubbles now? I NEED to know. So that I shall not have to write 3 names for her.

plays

You probably know the Lava Lamp with Derpy/Ditzy doo/Bubblecup animation. However, last time I saw it, it had no audio and just gave D a happy expression at the moment the blobs collided. Now she get full giggly and flaps her wings. It’s soooo cute and completely accurate with how I picture her.
The soundtrack is from Wall-E but I keep imagining some sort of adventure game like the Legend of Zelda. Like you’re looking around in a store and AI-Derpy is there looping excitement over the lavalamp.

A little weird but very sweet. I really love that a popular fanon gave Bubblecup/D (oh god, cup D) a daughter. Though some of the fanworks have been offensive due to ignorant use of whatever handicap D would have and Dinky being ashamed of it. But even so, they made her a mother, and not only does that save her from being a complete “ableist stereotype”, it also acknowledges that mothers are characters too and not some “oppression” in the universe of a child.

Prejudice Is Magic: This blog and Derpy/Ditzy Doo/Bubblecup

tsunderita:

prejudiceismagic:

Tsunderita and Rennerzdrawpictures,
This blog has no vendetta against “Derpy” whatsoever. The blog owner just does not like certain fanon, like some of you might not like the Molestia fanon. Perhaps the blog owner does not care about her at all, who cares? She still posts D-issue related…

I feel that I need to continue this, as it looks like my point isn’t really getting across here.

“You do not seem to know what prejudice is. It means judgement beforehand based on personal characteristics. That bronies figured Derpy is silly because she looks silly is prejudiced. The prefferences of this blog owner on her name and dislike of her obnoxiously liking a certain food has nothing to do with this word whatsoever. “

That still doesn’t address the issue that on a shared space like this, personal blog owners opinions shouldn’t be here. It’ll come off as biased. I started following because you started with showing the racist ugly side of the fandom and very nice cosplay pictures with terrible comments. It inspired me to go to the pictures in question and, if I liked them, leave nice comments on how well of a job they did pulling off a humanized pony. I don’t want to see an admin bitching about how they don’t like Molestia, Cupcakes/Rainbow Factory, or Derpy loving her muffins.

“If you have been doing the slightest research in the D-issue you know about her name controversy which doesn’t just means “clumsy”. Scroll down and read the article by Parrotbeak or read Amy Keating Roger’s letter to EQD.”

Yes, the term “derp” can be used as a slur for the mentally challenged. That deosn’t mean that’s the true definition. I looked it up and the first few webpages linked me to “Clumsy, silly, doing something dumb, brain fart” ect. But is it offensive? As one with mental retardation, I never thought of that word as offensive. I use it on a daily basis, in fact. Let’s not forget there’s other mentally challenged people that use the word and laugh instead of getting butthurt over it.

“A lot of people like the Molestia and Cupcakes fanon. May we not express our opinion when it is about numbers? Then we could just quit this entire blog that displays brony bigotry against minorities. The amount of people liking something does not mean someone may not express their dislike. That is exactly what rabid bronies do.”

You jsut said this blog was about minorities. I fail to see how the grimdark side or the r34 side fits anywhere into that. Unless you’re counting the percentage of people that like the grimdark ponies as a minority. (Personally, I don’t count the r34 side as a minority anywhere, since there is so much of it.) Even then this blog started as a race thing as I said earlier. A genre of fandom isn’t a race. If you really hate it that much, you have your personal blogs for that.

“Refusing to call her Derpy Hooves and call her something else instead? Seriously, how long have you been in the fandom and how much did you interact? You do know Derpy Hooves is a fan name and not canon, right? Closest to canon would be Ditzy Doo.

I’ve been in the fandom for a while, actually. And according to “The Last Roundup” Derpy would be canon because Rainbow Dash called her that. We don’t know anything about a pony named Ditzy Doo and we’ve never seen her. She was only mentioned in one line. Now personally, I think there is a pony named Ditzy Doo, and it may be one of the many Derpy recolored ponies in the background.

Derpy Hooves started as a silly joke name and people didn’t like it for either being offensive, being an internet-meme name and just not their taste. Bubbles has been a popular alternative name and was used by the team prior to “Derpy”. “

Bubbles would make more sense, as there’s many screencaps of Bubbles from PPG making silly wall-eyed faces just as Derpy does.

“Now Bubblecup has become popular. Resemblance minimal at best? Now I believe you haven’t even watched the FiM cartoon cus you would know there are 3 things that make a pony design; Mane colour, coat colour and the cutiemark. For Bubblecup and “Derpy” this is blond, gray and bubbles. How could you find this minimal? If your setting are this high, I imagine you wouldn’t even consider G3 and G4 RainbowFlash as the same pony. “

I think you meant to type “‘cause” instead of “cus” there. In any case, Bubblecup is a dark gray, blonde, and has a bubble blower as well as bubbles for a cutie mark. Derpy is light gray, blonde, and has about seven bubbles as her cutie mark. Not to mention her eyes are yellow/gold and Bubblecups’ eyes are blue. That is how I don’t see a big resemblance. As for this Rainbow Flash, they look remarkably similar. I’m seeing same coat, mane and cutie marks there. The only difference is the G4 is a Unicorn.

“As you probably can tell, I’m questioning your awareness of several issues due to what you wrote. My advice thus is to get informed before posting assumptions. However this was an “Ask” so perhaps you just wanted to get informed. If that’s the case; you’re welcome.”

My main intention was really to find out why such personal opinions about hate on things were on a blog against it. Now I see that it’s Peppersupreme that posted it, and I think that answered everything I needed to know. Just that tiny fact informed me on more than I needed to know.

First quoting your ask which was posted before your response was posted:

“Just thought you would care to know, a response has been posted. I’m sure you’ll ignore it just to have the last word and not even give a flying fuck about what I have to say to anything. Even though you did ask questions in it. But I’ve added my reply to your questions.”

I assume you are writing this to me because I was the one who asked questions. It seems that you know me so you would know that I always reply, even if I am talking to a blithering idiot. Are you trying to cast aspersions? I have never not cared for what anyone has to say. So either you’re lying or you are angry about us not agreeing about something. It’s too easy to read frustration in those lines.

So onwards to your reply:

You can’t dictate how a blog owner runs their blog. There are no rules in that matter. For example, at mlpartconfessions they ask opinions of the blog owner ALL THE TIME. It may come off as biased, but like I said; the blog owner has not hesitated to post anything on the matter. So whatever you feel would just be paranoia. You? Me? I’m not the blog owner….you know that right?
The blog owner hardly ever talks about what she dislikes in the fandom, and when she does it’s probably because people asked her opinion or it is relevant, like with Neil Cicierega disliking Molestia
For that matter, the blog owner posts other people’s opinions about stuff. Why is their own opinion so much more a problem to you? This blog truly post everything, even trolling anons.

You are not the representative of the entire group of disabled people. Other disabled people DID find it offensive. A friend of mine with D’s condition thought this, Yamino’s friends thought this, etc. A slur is offensive, therefor “Derp” is offensive. “The N-word”, for example, just means “ignorant person”. What do you think happens if I call children at a primary school the n-word’s? That word has of course a far bigger history, but it works the same way.
Disabled people who laugh over a slur? Do you know “black” people have fun calling each other “the n-word”? Now how do you think they feel when a priveledged white person uses it? Yes, and same goes for disabled people. (Not all of them, of course)

You jsut said this blog was about minorities. I fail to see how the grimdark side or the r34 side fits anywhere into that.”

As far as I know, r34 and grim is never posted here if it’s not about sexism or whatnot. Such content is for fuck-no-my-little-pony.
There was an occasion where a grim-nude picture was uploaded here featuring Futashy’s penis being cut off. It was posted here due to cissexism.
Posts about Molestia came to be when a person posted about Neil Cicierega, who disliked Molestia. Furthermore, if you look up “molestia” in the search of this blog, you’ll find a post with an ask about what the blog owner thinks about Molestia. As, like I said, she posts everything, she answered. And she merely said “it’s getting old”. No hatred at all.
That’s for D too btw. Blog owner never hates, she’s more of a “meh”-person. You should not feel troubled by such opinions.
But you got that right, this blog is only for prejudice and stays that way. All you may have seen either features discrimination or it’s something between the asks.

“I’ve been in the fandom for a while, actually. ”

I just linked you to Rogers’s letter. It tells you she was originally called Ditzy but colleagues told her to call her Derpy instead. Ditzy Doo was her original name and makes sense because Winter Wrap Up described her exactly like she was in The Last Roundup’s original script. Featherbrained, trying her best, an annoyance to RD. Since the old episode has been “re-done”, the name Derpy cannot be recognised as canon anymore. Of course Ditzy Doo is neither canon, but a lot closer to it than “Derpy”, as it is definitely mentioned in the show.

No, I tried to type “cus” which is a root-word of “because”. Don’t tell me you’re trying to do a spelling battle with me, because that “jsut deosn’t” have anything to do with this and is pretty childish.

Argh, why didn’t you just went with saying Bubblecup is an earthpony and D is a pegasus? Why not try saying Bubblecup is actually multi-coloured because her mane is yellow and white? That would’ve been ok arguments. Dark gray vs lighter gray. Ok, so tones are important to you? Then how do RainbowFlash G3 and Rainbowflash G4 have resemblance to you? 1) G3 has dark peach, G4 has purpleish pink. 2) G3 has green/magneta eyes, G4 purpleblue. 3) G3 has a green-pink-blue rainbow, G4 has a green-orange-pink one. Oh dang!
Enough of the flapdoodle; Bubblecup has similar (but not the same) colours and a similair themed cutiemark with bubble-theme. That is enough for people to see resemblance. It’s ok if you’re a bit more nitpicky, but was does it matter when you are already ok with calling her “Derpy Hooves”. We are just trying to find alternatives and it’s likely Hasbro re-uses names. (Look at the G4 blindbags for example)

“My main intention was really to find out why such personal opinions about hate on things were on a blog against it”

Oh, well that’s ok. It has to do with the Ask’s and-

“Now I see that it’s Peppersupreme that posted it, and I think that answered everything I needed to know. Just that tiny fact informed me on more than I needed to know.”

Ohoho, the person who usually provides helpful info has been providing helpful info! Just knowing that I was willing to answer gave you your answers….does that mean I’m psychic? Oh gosh, that must be it!

What kind of people did I anger in this fandom. Let’s see, people who falsely accused me of removing Derpy…People who think I hate Derpy for googly eyes while I love her for that….People who believe the show is nothing but perfection…Yeah, that’s is. The rabid bronies, thus. Does that mean that..
Et tu, Tsunderita?

I’m infamous, I got hatersss~~!

Yes, that’s exactly what it looks like. A packaged fashion style Derpy Hooves/Ditzy Doo. And that packaging tape does read Comic Con 2012!

These images were found on none other than Taobao, our favorite site for leaked ponies from the factory. We’ve been seeing Derpy fashion styles for a while, but we’ve never been sure if they were real or not. On the MLP Arena and on Ponychan, people tried to sell them, but the sellers ended up being fraudlent or never shipping the product. This lead to a lot of people thinking that this was a scam.

Well, this is as good a proof as we’re going to get before SDCC (July 12-15). Every year, Hasbro has a special edition pony that is first available at the con, but later available via the Hasbro Toy Shop site. They always have really similar packaging, allowing you to be able to fully see your pony without taking it out (in order to maximize the value of the pony).

If this is true, this would be the first G4 SDCC pony. Last year, Hasbro gave a shout out to the fans with a poster containing everypony from season 1, which owners had scanned up to 30k pixels! It’s obvious that Hasbro is definitely aiming towards fans, as that’s what SDCC is about for everyone there.

Whoops! It looks pretty convincing after all.

I wonder when this becomes available for general sale.

((Dammit…just when I thought I would have enough lag to contend with on HTS this year between Bruticus and Zombie Cliffjumper…now this?! Oh, well…I’ve got to try, at least. I’m owning this thing one way or another.))

OHnonono, Hasbro, even a twerp like me can see the flaws in such a bussiness choice.
Do you know the demand for this little pony? Do you know just HOW MANY fans want one? Do you know how terrible the prices at EBAY will be?

advice: Examine how your stand will be destroyed and decide you need to bring this toy to the stores.

But her eyes! Stores won’t accept that.

advice: Won’t they? Your 2011 Luna toy is as cross-eyed as can be. I myself have had many cross-eyed toys, though not intended. Just bring her out with this feature because you can just talk yourself out of this one. I just did that for you.

Now Hasbro, what will you call her? This one will actually be hilarious considering Rabid Bronies see the toys as uncanon. Thus if you do call her Derpy Hooves, what will bronies do? Be hypocrites like always, I guess. Just like with Heartstring and Lyra. (I will write an article about that.)
So…Derpy Hooves, Ditzy Doo. You actively deleted “Derpy” from you cartoon, so what will you do?
You know Derpy is considered offensive, but it is the brony name; the one you are trying to please, as always. Ditzy Doo is her cartoon name, according to Faust and Rogers, but is considered sexist due to being a gendered insult. (Not that you seem to care. Transformers and all)

advice: Bubblecup. Remember that G3 pony? I know you want to secure your names of pre gen ponies. Bubblecup would be the best choice. However, if you insist on keeping the toy comic-con-only, you might as well call her Ditzy Doo or Derpy.

Dear Hasbro, keep your head together and be logical.

~by this pixiv artist

I was actually looking for Hamtaro fanart on pixiv…sadly, it’s very hard to come by anything impressive. This person had a nice picture of Pashmina and I found these when going through their gallery. I think I have seen that Ditzy/Bubblecup somewhere before on another site.

I say we call her “Bubblecup”. I’ll now call her “Bubblecup” aside from tags… Bubblecup.

Bubblecup’s symbol are bubbles. She’s gray with a yellow and white mane. While not exactly the same, the resemblance is very clear. I’m considering to call her this instead of Ditzy Doo.

prejudiceismagic:

I was requested to screencap the posts that suggest fan-names for Ditzy, so here they are.

I know the names they used at the studio; Ditzy Doo, Bubbles, Stoneface and Bubblehead, and the name the fandom uses; Derpy Hooves. But I have never seen these gems. They’re beautiful!

Seriously, where are these creative minds when we choose names for our backgrounders? Most of the names we picked (FiM wiki) are pretty boring. We think up names on community sites and send them to Reddit to be votable. Then we vote. Of course, as these names are fanon, you can use whatever you want. But the key is in the tags. If you want to make a fanwork of a certain pony with a thousands names you can hardly tag your work. Even though I chose to call her Ditzy Doo, I still use the Derpy-tag as well.
